Responsible Conduct of Research
Last October 16-17, 2018, several participants from the member institutions of the Central Visayas Consortium for Health Research and Development (CVCHRD) joined in the Training for Responsible Conduct of Research. The training was conducted in collaboration with the Forum for Ethical Review Committees in Asia and the Western Pacific (FERCAP), with Dr. Cristina Torres, the FERCAP Coordinator, as one of the resource speakers. Along with her, the other esteemed resource speakers were Professor Edlyn Jimenez, Professor Leslie Michelle Dalmacio, and Dr. Manuel Emerson Donaldo.

Responsible Conduct of Research was geared towards the application of principles on research ethics when conducting research. International and national ethical guidelines as well as good research practice and regulations were tackled during the training. The training was filled with enthusiasm and cooperation with participants highly interactive throughout session. As per the participants' feedback, they gained new and valuable insights from the speakers.
